Nicohle Slobodyanyuk has been creating and telling stories for most of her life — on the page, on the stage, and through a career that has rarely followed a conventional path.

A lifelong performing and visual artist, Nicohle began training and performing as a child, with a background spanning dance, theatre, classical voice, aerial arts, film, modeling, visual art, and writing. She performed at Carnegie Hall as a teenager and went on to work across stage and screen, as well as becoming an internationally published model, before her creative life expanded into entrepreneurship and publishing.

At the heart of her work is a love of imagination: memorable characters, richly realized worlds, humor, beauty, and the small details that can make an ordinary moment feel magical.

Beyond the arts, Nicohle is an entrepreneur whose work spans publishing, international real estate, investment, and global experiences. She is the founder of Élysienne Holdings, LLC, which includes Élysienne Press, and the founder of Élysienne Global Concierge, a global real estate and investment advisory firm.

Home Sweet Acorn is the first release from Élysienne Press and the first book in Nicohle’s Squirrels in the Attic series — introducing Mama Nutmeg, Papa Chestnut, Hazel, Pip, and Squeak, and the little world they have built above the ceiling.
